Instructor

Dr. Jimmy Brennan

Dr Jimmy Brennan PhD is a lifelong practitioner of meditation and physical disciplines, beginning at age 9 and continuing to the present. His studies have gained him teacher certification in several areas from kung fu, traditional Chen family taiji quan, qigong and various styles of traditional yoga in which he is 500hr YTT certified. Along with this, he remains passionate about studying teaching and performing music, in which he holds a PhD in Jazz guitar pedagogy, analysis and composition. His current area of interest is in bringing movement and meditation practices to musicians to help them gain self-awareness, confidence and freedom.
